Combrosia : The Commerce Society of Motilal Nehru College organized an insightful session by IAS , MP Cadre, Dr. ARUNA SHARMA on 21st October 2021 at 11 a.m. on Google Meet. The topic of the session was ‘India’s road to 5 trillion economy’, where, the speaker, shared various aspects of an economy and the necessity of having a developed and a growing economy.
“The temptation to give up is a common one, and nobody is exempt from it. Failure isn’t something many of us can handle gracefully. And even though we know it’s a common human condition, we’re somehow always surprised when it happens to us. Through perseverance, many people win success out of what seemed destined to be certain failure.”
COMBROSIA, the Commerce Subject Society of Motilal Nehru College is organised a fun filled webinar on the occasion of the Kargil Vijay Diwas on 26th July 2021 via Zoom platform.
The guest speaker for the session was Major General V D Dogra who spoke on the topic ‘The Power of Perseverance’. He is the only serving Indian Army officer and the only General in the world to complete the Ironman Triathlon and in turn, is named as ‘Ironman’.
“I think age is just a number. Whenever you feel the desire to start, you can.” Going by his quote, he motivated the audience by speaking about new chances, new challenges and his journey in completing the Ironman Triathlon.
