The Annual Commerce Fest

Commerce Buzz is the annual flagship event hosted by Combrosia: The Commerce Subject Society of Motilal Nehru College, University of Delhi. It’s packed with fun activities, learning, and bonding. This event is the highlight for commerce students, attracting participants from all over Delhi University.

Throughout the event, attendees were captivated by a diverse range of engaging activities. Held over two days on April 18th and 19th, 2024, Commerce Buzz ’24 drew in large crowds with its exciting prizes and dynamic atmosphere, making it a memorable experience for all.

Day 1 of the event kicked off with the inaugural ceremony, graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries including the Principal, Head of the Commerce Department, Convenor of the Commerce Society, and other faculty members of the commerce department. The ceremony commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, setting a solemn yet celebratory tone for the proceedings. Principal sir delivered an inspiring keynote address, setting the stage for the exciting events to follow.

Commerce Buzz'24 celebrated the timeless love for cricket through the Combrosia Cricket League (CCL). The highlight of the event was the thrilling Auctioning round, which drew considerable excitement and anticipation from participants.

Cinemerce

Mukadma offered participants the opportunity to unravel a compelling mystery and engage in a thrilling battle for justice. The event unfolded in three rounds, centred around an original murder mystery.

“A brand is the path and the product is its journey”. To connote this phrase, Brand-O-Mania was organized in Combuzz’24. This event revolves around the ‘world of brands’ and involves merging brand identities to form completely new ones.

A new addition to the lineup of events of Commerce Buzz. The event challenged participants to showcase their creativity and marketing prowess.

Survival of the Fittest

In a nod to the fluctuating rhythms of the market, Combrosia introduced its own imaginative rendition of the stock exchange in CSE'24. The event invited participants to navigate the twists and turns of the market. Divided into three captivating rounds and ending with a mock stock competition, participants faced the market's ups and downs.

To discover the cosmic treasure hidden amongst the stars, Lost in space : the treasure hunt competition was organized. This intergalactic hunt was filled with intriguing mysteries and cleverly crafted clues.
