Freshers 2023

On October 21, Combrosia: The Commerce Subject Society organized the official fresher’s welcome of the Commerce Department for the ‘Batch of 2026’/27’ named Aagaaz’23.

The event, having a Bollywood theme was held in the library lawn of the college and was attended by 75 students in total, including, all three batches.

Kick-starting the event, Niharika and Harsh, members of the society, extended a warm welcome to the attendees, setting a lively tone for the day and ensuring everyone felt part of the excitement. The event commenced with the engaging ‘Guess the Hook step’ game, where students exhibited their dancing prowess by mimicking popular Bollywood moves, infusing the crowd with energy and enthusiasm. The entertainment continued with the thrilling ‘Spin the Wheel’ game, offering daring challenges that sparked laughter amongst the participants. From reciting rhymes to quirky dances, everyone engaged wholeheartedly, and the winners of the round were duly rewarded. The highlight of the day was the stylish ramp walk of the freshers, a display of confidence that garnered applause from the audience. However, the energetic and mesmerizing dance performance by the second and third-year society members stole the show and left a lasting impression.

The freshers were honoured with various titles including Mr. and Mrs. Fresher’s, given by the heads of the society. This added a sense of belonging and celebration to the event. The delicious refreshments served added flavour to the event, enhancing the memories created and ensuring a cherished experience for all who attended. As the freshers’ party concluded, it signalled the commencement of an exciting journey for the new members, promising more captivating experiences in the future.
